Installation of chordz presets:
Chordz VST System requirements: VST compatible 32-bit or 64-bit host (DAW) running on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or above.
Cthulhu VST System Requirements: SP1 OS X 10.6 or greater, Windows 7 or greater. VST, AudioUnit, or AAX compatible host. AAX requires PT 10.3.5 or later – RTAS not supported via third party wrapper.
To Install:
- Purchase a Chord Engine Preset Bank above, then take the following steps
- Download the Free Chordz VST Or download or purchase the Cthulhu VST.
To install the Chordz VST, simply open the downloaded zip file and extract the folder to your plugins folder. Or simply add a new plugin path inside your DAW to point to the extracted “Chordz” Folder. Re-scan your plugins and the VST will be installed.To install the Cthulhu VST simply run the installer. - To Install the Preset Bank: For Windows, simply run the installer file included in your purchase. For Mac, open the downloaded Chord Engine Preset bank .dmg file and drag the preset folder to your Cthulhu presets folder.Chordz Preset Folder Location: Open the chordz preset bank free and click on the “Presets tab” located at the top of the plugin. Then right click inside the presets tab and click “show in explorer” This is the folder location where you will place your preset files and your presets will be installed. Your installer file should default to this location.
Cthulhu Preset Folder Location: Your Xfer presets folder can be found by clicking “show presets folder” from the Cthulhu plugin. It’s the little gear in the top right corner.
