Sean Costello (ValhallaDSP) today released ValhallaDelay, a new super versatile delay plug-in for PC and Mac. ValhallaDelay offers 7 different delay modes, from classic (tape, HiFi, BBD…) to brand new innovative modes like ghost mode. The latter combines the band pattern (HiFi mode) with frequency shifting and a unique transmission algorithm. If you know Sean Costello’s developments, it’s not enough to call him a ValhallaDSP plugin.

So it also comes with five different strip styles (single, dual, quad…) to control the number of delay entries. Additionally, you can change the delay length from 0 ms to 20 seconds, add/remove artifacts with age control, and more. ValhallaDelay is our take on classic and modern delay and echo units. Tape echo, BBD, old school digital, pitch shifting: we’ve got you covered. ValhallaDelay takes the classics and expands them to new dimensions, with unique Ratio and Quad delay styles, Ghost Mode (which adds frequency offset), and a powerful diffusion section that can create everything from nuanced echoes to ethereal reverbs.
